Enjoy art activities, food, stories and fun? Then bring your family to the Figge for this special family event! In addition to many indoor activities, there will be ice sculpting on the Figge plaza, and a family-friendly lunch (view menu) served in the Figge Café from 11 am-2 pm. Learn more.

Artica Gallery Opening Reception
2-4 pm Saturday, February 25
$10 per family for non-members; free for Figge members

Looking for a new space  for your kids to be creative? Or a place for you to explore your inner artist? If so, please join us for the grand opening of the Artica Gallery! Artica is an interactive, creative space for all ages. Sit in front of a mirror and draw a self portrait, try out a computer drawing program, "build" a house with the assistance of a paper model or by usings colorful blocks, image a new you when you decorate a reflection of your face with glasses, moustaches or other interesting features, look at the huge artwork lining the walls, or dive into one of the many other activities filling the space.

Artica helps you discover:
• where artists find inspiration
• how artists use their imagination to be creative
• how artists express their ideas

The celebration begins in the auditorium at 2 pm. Light refreshments served after a presentation about the new gallery.
